Sugar Bears
Are you kidding me? My local mall has recently set up a kiosk that's been getting a lot of attention and it makes me sick. They are selling exotic animals called Sugar Gliders, got it? Sugar Gliders, not Sugar Bears. On their kiosk sign it clearly says "Sugar Bears" but what they don't know is that "Sugar Bear" is another name for a Kinkajou, a rainforest mammal found in South America. Sugar Gliders are very cute, yes, but they make terrible pets. Everything the sellers are saying about the exotic marsupials is wrong. They are very high maintenance animals and shouldn't be sold to anyone who has a few dollars to spend. It sickens me to see this happening so close to my home, thinking about all of those sugar gliders that won't make it because the owners don't know what they've gotten into.
